Amanda Addison

New Business Development and Communications Lead


Amanda joined CUBIC in 2025 to lead new business development and communications. She brings over 15 years of experience in international development, with a focus on proposal design, strategic partnerships, and behaviorally informed program strategies. Before joining CUBIC, Amanda served as Director of New Business for East and Southern Africa at Chemonics and FHI 360, where she led or contributed to dozens of successful proposals for USAID, FCDO, and philanthropic funders across health, education, and WASH. She has worked in more than 12 countries, with a track record of securing over $1 billion in funding throughout her career.

Amanda holds a Master’s in International Development and Development Economics from Tulane University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and Urban Studies from the University of Richmond. She is based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Amanda can’t resist a renovation project — whether it’s knocking down a wall, watching Dream Home Makeover, or sketching plans for her next “just one small change” that somehow becomes a full remodel.
